PRODUCT INFO: Standing 3.5" tall, SQUADT 5.0 is the new iteration of the regularly 6" tall vinyl designed by Ferg and currently produced by Playge (Ferg x Threezero). The piece on show and reviewed here today is the NOZZEL s001.50, which was released online in January 12th, for a 24hour order window. SRP was US$40 per (additional US$20 shipping per piece) and I was lucky to be able to afford one at this time.

Housed in a brown carton box (mine came in pretty molested), the box opens up to contain a figure in blister carded packaging, which also includes an additional pair of interchangeable hands and a sAK-74.

The vinyl+ABS figure features articulated in the arms/shoulders, and a ball-joint at the neck, and as well a removable helmet. The skull helmet essentially sits snug on the inner head and is liable to drop if you turned the figure upside down. I have been intrigued with the helmet aspect of this figure for years, and am finally able to witness it - even in miniature form, so that's a treat.

One of the hallmarks of Threezero since their inception, is fabric clothing for their figures and collectibles, and always appreciated in my own collecting adventures, and this iteration is no exception. The print design features work by Ferg, and the tailoring is mighty decent at this size and quantity.

Fastened by a thick strip of grey velcro (appreciate the color choice too), the hood aspect of the parka gives the figure that extra X-Factor of Fun and cuteness, especially with the item fitting firmly in the palm of your hands!

I am contemplating getting the second release with Jack and Chipp, if only to rectify the desire to own them since my blogging about Project Squadt since 2008 hahaha … but here's hoping I would have sufficient funds at a later date to track them down at local retailers.

The first iteration of NOZZEL was featured in 2009 and it has taken me nearly 6 years to have one in my hands, and I am both disappointed at how long it too, and as well delighted that I have.

Each individual Squadt member have their own design (recognizable via their helmet deigns) and as well characteristics, with NOZZEL being able to both lead or follow, possesses medium smarts, and is insanely tough.
