Medicom Toy Does Banksy
We've seen Medicom Toy produce a plethora of merchandize bearing the pop art aesthetics spirit of Andy Warhol - from vinyl collectible dolls, to lifestyle items like cushions and banana keychains … and looks like the Japanese brand is next tackling the creations of the infamous street artist "Banksy", with a selection of merch seen on display at the recently launched Medicom Toy Exhibition'15!
On show were collectibles, B@RBRICKS, cushions, clocks, carpets ... No further product details revealed as yet. Medicom Toy Exhibition'15 exhibits thru June 28th, 2015.
Counter-culture has gone mainstream commerce? Hey, I am all for this evolution (although nothing has been said about these being legitimately licensed or otherwise :p), and I'll let the deep-pockets go bid for portions of wall graffiti and painted doors, while joe-common AKA "folks like myself" gets to purchase a nifty piece of faux memorabilia LOL
