"Emblem of an Abstract Riot" Resin Art Toy by Patrick Wong Set for Release April 27

Scheduled for an online release from April 27th, 2015 is Canadian artist Patrick Wong's "Emblem of an Abstract Riot". Wow. I have to say, I really like this piece I am seeing here! With all the pseudo art-social-commentary seen out there, this is one of the more humorous and at the same time as impactful a design drawing on commercial nostalgia, IMHO. Well done, Patrick!

Here are some product pics and as well the official press release from Patrick:
PRESS: "The artwork was created as a limited edition and are hand-crafted resin sculptures continuing the theme of riot, rebellion, and revolt as seen in recent work by the artist. "Emblem of an Abstract Riot" illustrates a dismembered cartoon arm clutching an unused molotov cocktail, suggesting a casualty of a failed uprising."
PRESS CONTINUED: "Created from an original sculpt, the art multiples measure 6x6x3.75 inches and composed of 425 grams of solid polyurethane resin.

The piece will be available online through Patrick's webshop starting on Monday April 27th, 2015 at 9:00am PDT for US$150 each. Preview copies have been sold out at PiQ Products and early copies are currently available at Austin's Guzu Gallery."
