Joey Spiotto’s Alien Next Door Sculpt by Wetworks
Carlo Andrada Cacho AKA Wetworks is currently working on a “random sculpt” on the “Alien Next Door” illustration concept by Joey Spiotto (blogged / see artwork below), featuring your friendly neighbourhood Xenomorph and his cat Jonesy!
I don’t know about you folks, but I am getting jolts of excitement at the prospect! No further information at time of this post - Is it going to be like his “Stranger Things” one-off pieces (Eleven & Dustin) done as fan-art for “giveaways”? I’d asked Carlo what was the genesis of the choice, to which he mentioned he had just gotten the book ”and instantly fell in love with the design, it was super cool”. He’d also added that there are currently no plans for the figure, as he had ”just want to see this in 3-dimensional and it's challenging because of the shape and pose” for this approx. 6-inch tall figure.
Well, sorry to dash everyone's toy-wishes tho, and one can only hope... :)
