Nathan Jurevicius' Sylvan: Anzû


Besides my toy-lurve for the Firecracker Edition of Sylvan by Gary Ham x Pobber, the other edition that had piqued my interest and toy-desires is Sylvan: Anzû; featuring skin design by Nathan Jurevicius. Shown above are select snaps of the launch show at Woot Bear (more pics on Facebook / Nathan's signed prints are still available too), along with a little story behind this character:
"Anzû is a monster in several Mesopotamian religions. He was the son of the bird goddess Siris. Anzû is depicted as a massive bird demon who can breathe fire and water. This massive bird demon is now brought to life by Nathan Jurevicius through Gary Ham's Sylvan figure. "
